The flavors were out of this world, and it added an extra element of enjoyment to the occasion. Chris and Christiaan's wedding was truly incredible. It was held on the rooftop of their apartment complex, which provided a stunning backdrop for their special day. From start to finish, their wedding ceremony incorporated elements of faith, spirit, and love, making it a truly authentic and meaningful experience. Despite the rain that decided to make an appearance, Chris and Christiaan were determined to have some moments outdoors for their ceremony. Luckily, the weather cleared up for a little while, allowing them to exchange their vows under the open sky. It was a breathtaking sight to witness their commitment and love under the Minneapolis skyline.Being the photographer for their wedding was an immense privilege for me. Not only was it an honor to capture their beautiful moments, but it was also my first time photographing an LGBTQ wedding. The experience was deeply significant, and I am grateful to have been a part of their special day. I recently had the opportunity to capture a beautiful wedding at the <a href="https://tripleshift.com/mermaid/">Mermaid Event Center</a>. The couple, who had initially eloped to the Caribbean, decided to reaffirm their marriage vows surrounded by their loved ones. As a photographer, my aim is to capture genuine and authentic moments, and the Raelyn and Alex were just amazing at being REAL. They are so down-to-earth and their love for each other is genuine. Example...they had one of the Vikings super fans to show up because Raelyn is a gigantic purple and gold fan!!Now, let me talk about the venue itself - the <a href="https://tripleshift.com/mermaid/">Mermaid Event Center.</a> This place is super cool. Not only is it a fantastic location for a wedding, but the food is absolutely delicious. Yes, as a photographer, I totally judge the food. The entire ambiance of the venue adds to the overall amazing experience. . Their love was bold and evident in every frame I captured. It was a pleasure to be a part of their special day.To sum it up, this wedding at the Mermaid Event Center was truly unforgettable. The couple's genuine connection, the amazing venue, and the delicious food all contributed to an incredible experience. As a photographer, it was an honor to capture their bold and authentic love.

Hiropix was a great photographer to work with. We wanted a photographer who was great at candid event shots, and we were very pleased with what Kenny did for us. 

He requested an initial consult to get to know us and our style, and then a follow-up as the wedding got closer. The day of the wedding everyone was forced to be flexible due to some ill-timed rain/hail, and Kenny was great at getting the families together for portraits between storms.
